My thoughts on the future of online learning

I used to be an eLearning developer. It’s a fancy way of saying that I built things using tools that most people have never heard of. I left because my contract had a 12-month anti-competition clause. But also because I was burned out from working nights and weekends and blamed maths.

Spoiler: it was not the maths.

eLearning taught me to care about the audience and their goals. I still miss building lessons and tests. So, when someone asked me if I was interested in getting back into eLearning, I said “Why not?”.

I build this video to talk about my background and how I viewed eLearning. I didn’t get the role, but I loved making this presentation and getting to chat about online learning again.
