Cookie policy

Not technically cookies, but such pretty colours. Photo by Eaters Collective on Unsplash.

Why is there a cookie policy?

Like most websites, this site uses cookies – small text files that are saved by your browser to help this site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to remember your preferences, store information for things like shopping baskets, and provide anonymous tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics. Google Analytics tracks how many people visited the site, and what they were interested in. So that I can make more of the good stuff for you to come back to.

What about GDPR?

I live in Scotland, so I follow GDPR best practices. I don’t hold onto information that I don’t need, so if I ever need to retain your data (such as an email address for a newsletter), I’ll let you know and you can choose to opt in or not.

You can turn cookies off

As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this site and on others. The easiest way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. Consult the Help section of your browser or take a look at the About Cookies website for guidance on most modern browsers
